Sustainability

At Aspen Air we use two types of balloons, compostable latex and recyclable foil.

Our latex balloons are made from ‘caoutchouc’, a natural and renewable material that is 100% bio-based. 100% Biobased Carbon indicates that a material is entirely sourced from plants or organic products. Natural latex is combined with pigments to give a beautiful, colorful product that is 100% bio-based and compostable.

Once all air or helium is released from our balloons and any custom vinyl, ribbons, or other accompaniment has been remove the latex balloons are ready to be composted and the foil balloons are placed in the correct recycling stream.
